Accessing our Psychology Services

Psychological services are subsidised by Medicare for people with a Mental Health Care Plan which can be obtained by visiting your GP, who can then make a referral to Connected Self. We can rebate private health funds if you are eligible.

We offer a low fee option for eligible concession card holders.  Other sources of funding can include NDIS, Department for Child Protection (formerly Families SA), Disability Services (SA) and ICAN FLO. Connected Self are approved providers for these funding streams.

Bulk bill arrangements may be negotiated for exceptional circumstance on a case by case basis to ensure that real financial difficulty does not restrict anyone having access to the psychological support they need.

If you have any questions, or would like to book an appointment, please don’t hesitate to contact our friendly reception team on (08) 8232 2438 or info@connectedself.com.au to discuss these options or to book an appointment.

Polyvagal Practices

Polyvagal practices aim to enhance physiological regulation, restore a sense of safety, and promote engagement through autonomic nervous system regulation.

This enhances social and emotional learning, including recognising and regulating emotions (from a physiological lens) and developing empathy for others.
