Connected Self has psychologists and vocational coaches who specialise in working with adolescents and adults to identify career pathways that reflect their strengths, interests, personality and preferred working styles.

What Level of Support do I Require?
Everyone has different needs when it comes to finding a vocational pathway. Some people have a clear sense of their skills and abilities, but instead, may require help matching their personality and interests to a vocational pathway. Other people require more intensive and ongoing support to identify a specific vocational pathway or job.

Our Vocational Services
Connected Self offers a range of vocational services that are designed to meet the individual needs of people. We offer the following:
1. Comprehensive Vocational Assessment
This vocational assessment is conducted by a psychologist and includes the assessment of strengths and abilities, personality, interests, values and preferred working styles. This is the most thorough and intensive vocational assessment. The type of assessment process undertaken and the associated costs will be dictated by:

- Whether you have access to a computer and are willing to complete assessment questionnaires online.
- What type of assessment instruments are used.
- Whether your strengths and abilities are being assessed
2. Vocational Guidance
Vocational guidance is a service designed for adolescents and adults who have a good knowledge of their strengths and abilities, but would like additional support identifying their preferred vocational pathway as it relates to their personality and interests. Connected Self's vocational coaches are accredited in the Myers Brigg Type Indicator (MBTI, personality instrument) and use this instrument, as well as other assessment questionnaires, to provide vocational guidance.

Connected Self has two vocational coaches who, after the initial assessment has taken place, support people to explore and narrow down different vocational pathways or preferences.

Costs - How much?
Connected Self's vocational services are tailored to the individual. All vocational services are subject to GST. The cost of vocational assessment and coaching is dependent on the nature and type of services. Costs for groups are negotiated based on the group number and the type of program.
